Unlock 7.0: Odisha Government Issues Fresh Guidelines
Apprehending a possible surge in the cases of COVID-19 infection in the state, the Odisha Government issued fresh guidelines for Unlock 7.0.
The Government has relaxed some rules in the non-containment zones, while the containment zones will remain prohibited from activities.
Here are some of the key Unlock 7.0 guidelines –
- The School and Mass Education Department has been authorized to take a call on the reopening of schools for students from classes IX to XII. Earlier, the Government had ordered the closure of schools till December 31. Medical colleges will re-open from December 1.
- Business to business (B2B) exhibitions are allowed. However, it should be held under strict COVID19 guidelines with maximum participants not more than 50 percent of the hall capacity. The ceiling is 100 persons.
- Business to Customer (B2C) exhibits and fairs have been disallowed.
- On the issue relating to the re-opening of religious places, the district administration can allow public worship under proper guidelines.
- Cinema halls, swimming pools, large political, social and sports gatherings will continue to remain shut.
- Weddings shall be allowed with a maximum ceiling of 200 persons. (District Collectors can take a call on the ceiling limit)
- Funeral-related gatherings will be restricted to 50 persons.
- Inter and intra state movement of people, goods, and vehicles are allowed.
- Technical and skill development institutes to remain shut.
- Anganwadi centres to remain closed till December 31.
