On December 31, dry weather is likely to prevail over most districts in Odisha. However, shallow to moderate fog might occur in the North Odisha districts and at one or two places over Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal and Boudh districts.

The Met Centre has also issued a yellow warning for dense fog in 15 districts, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
