Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Visits Jeypore

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, during his visit to the Regional Youth Conclave at Jeypore, introduced 31 projects worth ₹1,136.41 crores & laid the foundation for 94 projects worth ₹749Cr. Patnaik inaugurated the much-awaited ₹992.85 crore Telengiri Medium Irrigation Project. Work on this project had commenced in the year 2004 and it has been successfully completed after 15 years.

“The project will provide irrigation facilities to at least 9,952 hectares of agricultural land in 52 villages under Jeypore and Borigumma blocks. Undoubtedly, it will strengthen the economy of farmers in the region,”

said Naveen, while speaking at the youth conclave organized by the Biju Yuva Vahini.

He also announced three High-Level Bridges in Koraput district, over river Muran on Girilaguma-Duarasuni road, near Kolab reservoir on Nandpur-Lamtaput-Banamaliput road, and on Kolab reservoir on Koraput-Suku road.

The event was attended by thousands of Biju Yuva Vahini activists from Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts. The audience greeted the Chief Minister with immense love and support.
